At my (Steffi) work they offer various professional development classes as well as several different kinds of health classes to encourage a healthy workforce (at least that's what I think). One of the new classes they offered was Weight Watchers at Work, a 14 week program! I had been trying to lose some weight on my own, but was not really succeeding so I decided, since it was free for me, I would join. It has been well worth it! It has been 12 weeks now and I have reached my goal. All in all I lost 13 pounds! A few weeks into the program Dietmar also got inspired and started counting his points, too! He has not quite reached his goal yet but has already lost 19 pounds!

And since I now reached my goal I got a new pass. Now I have to stay at my current weight for 6 consecutive weeks and then I become a gold star member.

And here are two of the many new recipes we have tried. This one is a Raspberry Auflauf (a type of sweet casserole). Very delicious.
This is a Mexican style quiche with special Mexican spices from Thomas and Gina (Thank You!!)!!!
And if we were good throughout the day, this is our new favorite treat! Well worth the points!!!
